Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her most well-known character is Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series. Other roles she has played comprise Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting while attending Preparatory School. At the end of the 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. The theatre studies she pursued was in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was completed at the British American Drama Academy. Anna started out in Chicago performing in stage parts for a number of years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood, where she began her acting career in TV shows and films. In 1992, Anna got her first major character as Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. The early 90s were when she was a frequent guest in TV and film including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock played two full seasons in Deadwood, which was filmed in the mid 2000's. Skyler was the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood was also an integral the highlights of her career. Gunn has also appeared on stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn was a part of a four-part audio-play series known as "Numbered days". The drama of Breaking Bad is determined by the love story that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their difficult relationship. The degrading of this relationship is in line with Walter White's dying years.
