Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of TV. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother and an Irish mother and a Mexican father from Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas to pursue an athletic therapy profession at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas prior to moving to Florida, Orlando. There she played various roles ranging from local independent films to international commercials. In spite of the minor role, she found that acting was her passion. When she moved to New York, in 2001 she landed her first acting role for the television show All My Children. Through the first half of 2000 the small part she played was appearing on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to share the screen with some famous TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable role was in 2006's Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. This particular character brought De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008 she took home the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring role. She played Marisol Deko as well as spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. On NBC's dark and dramatic thriller Do No Harm she played the role of the character Dr. Lena Solis. After a couple of episodes the show ended up being cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has an Italian father and a brother Cory which is a years younger than her. She was raised by an orthodox and religious family. Milano was seven years old when her babysitter took Milano to a talent show. She was one of four girls chosen from over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano has appeared in ads in both Broadway and on TV as well, such as the American musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
